Alex Cowley. Landscape photography - Image Retouching - Matte Painting
After studying and working in photography in the UK Alex Cowley moved to Australia in 2001.
Continuing to develop his skill as a photographer Alex Cowley became a member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) in 2005
The same year Alex was awarded the Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year sponsored by Hassleblad in the Canon/AIPP Professional Photography Awards and was selected as a finalist for the Canon/AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year Award.
To date Alex has received a total of 18 awards for his photography and in 2007 was made an Associate of Photography by the AIPP in recognition of his work.
As well as a professional landscape photographer Alex Cowley also writes for Better Digital photography magazine becoming their major contributor at the beginning of 2007.
Alex also works as a freelance commercial retoucher and matte painter, completing projects for Toohey's Extra Dry, Hahn SuperDry, Nutella, MBF amd Molenberg bread.
